Hawaii Artist Marshall White
Maui Artist Information
Marshall White is truly a born artist with an exceptional ability to see nature in all it's uniqueness, and has the God-given talent for putting his vision on canvas.
When viewing Marshall's amazing body of work, one begins to realize how extensive his creative gift is. From his stunning florals, to his authentic seascapes, and particularly his skill in depicting the Hawaiian green sea turtle, his range seems boundless. Marshall's paintings and prints of Hawaii are wonderfully detailed and popular with local art buyers and collectors who visit the islands. His sought-after art has been published on the cover of magazines, books, and in local island tourists guides.
Marshall spent many years quietly developing his craft as an artist while having a full-time career in sign design and production. He fine tuned his eye for composition during his eighteen years in the sign industry. Supervising the sign department for the Port of Seattle contributed to his competence in marketing, organization, and communication with customers and businesses alike. Most art lovers are surprised when they discover that he has had no formal art education.
Marshall made the life-changing decision to move to the Big Island of Hawaii in 2001 for the express purpose of starting his full-time career as an artist. Since 2001 he has focused on painting, reproducing and marketing his art on the Hawaiian Islands. Currently his work may be viewed in several galleries in Hawaii and in Canada, attributing to his international acclaim. He truly loves painting and it shows in his distinctive style.
He now lives on the island of Maui and produces paintings from his private studio in Makawao Town.
"Life itself is full and rich, and I find inspiration all around me. I feel the creative energy with-in, and am moved to paint the beauty I see in creation. " - Marshall White
